Hello my fellow tastebuds! Thanks for visiting my site!

I guess I should start with some background information about myself.

I was adopted from China when I was almost five years old. I currently live in Bellevue, Washington, but I currently go to school at Washington State University. I am majoring in Journalism and Media Productions and minoring in Hospitality Business Management to satiate my love of people, connections, creativity, food, and writing.

The purpose of this blog is to create content for my Comm 210 class. I feel this will also be a good way for me to get my feet wet when it comes to creating a food and me blog I can be happy with.

My interests of course include food, writing, traveling, and people, but I like other things too. I love nerdy things and pop culture. In my spare time I watch a lot of tv, movies, and I read whatever interests me on the internet. Some people enjoy long walks on the beach, but I enjoy short walks to the refrigerator.

With the world we live in today, there seems to be endless possibilities for amazing stories on people, the world, and especially food. I’d like my future career to somehow incorporate my love of food, traveling, writing, and people. Whether that is working for Food and Wine Magazine, Michelin, Zagat, OpenTable or something else, my mind and stomach are open to whatever is out there.
